WIN: SOULING
Have you ever worn a jumpsuit to a party and wound up naked on the toilet, fuddled as a fart, belly rolls flopping, boobs sagging, wee exploding, all orifices on show for the world and God to bear witness?
No? Well you have not yet lived.
Soul is not just a noun; it's also a verb. According to author Natasha Ritz, Souling is the action we must take to unearth and experience the depths of our being.
In writing as bold as the journey she describes, Ritz hopes to provide readers with resonant nuggets that empower their self-discovery and expression. This journey is not for the faint of heart; it’s for the fierce of heart. Expect swearing. Lots of swearing.
Are you ready to embrace curiosity and dive into the unknown to uncover the truth of who you are? Are you ready to explore heartbreak, death, therapy, ego, awareness, resistance, suffering, sex, kink, tantra and beyond? Join Ritz on this transformative adventure and discover the inexhaustible love tap that pours from your heart.
Win one of the first released paperback copies of the book in the world, and a stunning print artwork by Australian artist Vicki Inglis, called Inner Compass.
About the Author
Natasha Ritz is a self-proclaimed explorer of the internal world. This is the first book she’s written. It was born from personal experiences in conjunction with academic learnings from her Behavioural Sciences work. Natasha is a business leader, having led and run multiple business in the social enterprise space, helping founders in social enterprise to operationalise their vision. She brings unique storytelling and knowledge from varied experiences in her life to support the reader on their souling journey as they dive into their inner-most self.
Inner Compass Artwork Description
I watched the shadow move into the standing upright position, I was shown that my light came out of my shadow, not the other way. That only in darkness can light even be seen. And then I watched my shadow self move in a circular, clockwise motion, spinning down 180 degrees and then switching into my light, spinning and spinning, swapping between shadow and light, shadow and light. Always shadow at the top of the circular motion, switching to light at the bottom. Circular, like a compass. Guided by shadow where only light can be cast from.
20 Reasons Not to Read Souling for the Easily Offended:
1. Lots of Swearing
2. Talk about drugs
3. Talk about Sex (particularly sex before marriage and particularly not always of the hetero kind)
4. Further to sex, if the idea of BDSM & kink makes you feel like you want to vomit, maybe don’t read… or maybe do
5. Discussion of STDs
6. Discussions of the patriarchy
7. Discussions of ongoing oppression of women
8. An open dialogue about ongoing colonisation and its impacts
9. Intrinsic links between personal mental wellbeing and planetary health - if you’re a climate denier, don’t read.
10. Acknowledgement and ongoing discussion of everything on a spectrum, gender, sexuality, energy and beyond
11. Spirituality, the universe, Mother Earth, God, religion, philosophy
12. Intuition - if the idea of intuition is woo-woo this ain’t for you.
13. If you feel offended by the idea of taking complete accountability and responsibility for yourself and your behaviour, this is not for you either.
14. If raw, deep grief about death is not something you want to know about, read about or enter into right now, then maybe skip the death chapter, or the book altogether.
15. If talking about emotions, like love for example, are painful for you - this could be helpful or it could be really challenging.
16. If you only want to say yes, people-please and NEVER want to say the word no, then maybe this is your first opportunity to say ‘no’ to reading this.
17. If you believe that everything and/or everyone around you is responsible for how you feel and how you act, do not enter.
18. If you hate looking in the mirror.
19. If you dislike honesty and deep self-reflection, no-go.
20. If you hate fun.
If you believe you won’t be offended by these things, or you’re open to explore your level of offence, then by all means, Ritz welcomes you into the world of Souling.
This competition ends on 12/04/2024.
